- Must have 4-5 years’ experience as a Used Vehicle Sales Manager
- Build strong relationships with clients
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly retail sales target
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all used-vehicle sales employees.
- Understands and complies with regulations affecting used-vehicle sales.
- Directs and schedules activities of all department employees to ensure proper staffing.
- Assists individual salespeople in setting realistic monthly goals and objectives, offering support to meet them.
- Maintains an accurate daily log reflecting all sales activities.
- Develops and monitors a prospecting and sales control system for potential buyers.
- Ensures teamwork and a customer-focused sales environment throughout the process.
- Conducts daily and weekly sales meetings.
- Provides proper training resources for salespeople regularly.
- Oversees sales efforts to improve customer satisfaction and dealership ratings.
- Works with salespeople on programs to increase used-car gross and F&I penetration.
- Assists salespeople in closing deals when necessary.
- Processes salesperson commission sheets and monitors payroll records.
- Reviews inventory daily to ensure proper mix of stock.
- Assists in developing advertising campaigns and other promotions.
- Attends managers meetings as requested.
- Maintains a professional appearance.

- People Skills, Analytical, Computer Literate.
- 5 years minimum
- Drivers’ License including medium / heavy license
- Be of sober habits
